1. APPLICATION OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY 

 

This Privacy Policy is applicable to all Services provided and operated by Vencha Social, inclusive of websites, apps and events. You can find links to our Privacy Policy on all applicable services so you can always be re-assured and have access to information regarding your data and privacy. 

 

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT 

 

In order for our users to get the most out of the Vencha experience, we need access to some of your basic information so that we can help you develop meaningful connections with other users. We require information such as basic profile details, as well as the types of people you are interested in meeting. We also collect information generated from third parties, or example, when our services are accessed via another social media account. 

 

The information you choose to give us access to when using Vencha:

  • In order to create an account, we require login credentials, gender and date of birth

  • During the creation of your profile, you may also choose to provide us with details on your personality and lifestyle, as well as provide us with content such as photos, which requires you to allow us access to your camera or photo album. By providing us access to this information, you also consent to our administering of that information. 

  • For paid services or subscriptions, users will be required to provide our payment service provider with financial information such as debit/credit card numbers.

  • By participating in surveys, your answers and insights may be used by Vencha for development and research purposes. 

  • Any information provided to Vencha used to register or enter promotions, events or contests may be used for development and research. 

  • Any communication or interaction with our customer service team may be used for research and development, as well as training purposes to maintain a high quality of service. 

  • Communication with other users, as well as the content users publish is also collected by Vencha as part of the operation of the service and may be used for research and development. 

 

Vencha can also receive information about you from other users of the service;

  • If another user contacts us regarding a communication or interaction with you, we may collect information that the other user has provided about you.

  • If you use a social media login to create, access or link to your account, we may collect information that you have shared on that platform, such as photos, usernames and passwords. 

 

There is some further information Vencha collects when you use our Service:

  • We collect information on the following activities and interactions; date and time of log-ins, searches, features of the service you access, users you connect with, as well as time, date, and the number of messages both sent and received on the service. 

  • We collect information such as IP address, app settings, device ID and type, advertising IDs, browser type, version and language, time zones, operating system, and identifiers or other technologies that may uniquely identify your device or browser.

  • We collect information on your network connection (wireless and mobile, specifically, your service provider as well as signal strength. 

  • With your permission, we also collect information regarding your precise geolocation through things like GPS, Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi connections. 

  • With your consent, we also collect any content, such as photos, that users publish on the Service. 

 

3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

 

Any information collected by Vencha is mainly used for research and development purposes so that we may continue to improve and deliver a quality Service relevant to our users. Collecting your information also helps us to maintain a safe environment on the Service. 

 

In order to provide you with our services, we use your information so that we are able to create and manage your account, provide you with a high quality customer support and communicate you on such matters as updates, support, billing or transactions.

Your information also allows us to assist law enforcement, and ensure our Terms and Conditions are being adhered to. 

 

4. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION

 

By creating a public profile on Vencha, you are consenting to that information being shared with other users. We ask that, because the content you upload is your responsibility, as is the information you share, that you are comfortable with others being able to view that information and content. We have no control over what other users do with your information once shared on the Service. Vencha does have the option for a discreet setting (not sure what you call this again?), therefore, information you share will only be visible according to your account settings.  

 

For development and research purposes, we may at times share your information with bars that are a part of the Service, as well as with third parties that assist us in the collection of analytics, customer support, and security operations.

 

There may also be circumstances where we are required by law to share information you have provided with the Service. For example, in the event of a court order, subpoena, search warrant, investigation or to assist in the prevention or detection of crime, as well as ensure the protection of safety of any person. 

 

We may also disclose user information in the event of mitigating our liability in a lawsuit, to protect our own, our users, or other interested parties rights, as a way to enforce any agreements we have with you, the user, or if we are required to investigate or take action on any activity that might be considered illegal or unauthorized.

6.  PRIVACY FOR CHILDREN 

 

Vencha’s services are designed for use by those who are 18 years of age or older, and we do not permit those under the age of 18 to use the service, or knowingly collect any information or data of those younger than 18 years old. If you believe a person under 18 is using the service, please report the user profile using the process built into the service. Likewise, if it is found that that a user is under 18, the customer support at Vencha will work promptly to remove the offending user profile.  

 

7. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY 

 

In order to keep our service relevant and useful to our users, we may decide to make updates or changes to this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will communicate any changes before they take effect and any queries or concerns can be directed to (help email).
